Listening: Move Along; The All-American Rejects.
The recent weeks have left me thinking about how absolutely unproductive our teenage life can be. We go to school, we go drinking with our buddies, we go around trying to get shit wasted, and essentially we're just fucking around. Such soulless activities has left me feeling disgusted with the way my life is progressing. Even though some of us work, the money is usually spent on unnecessary bullshit. I constantly attempt to steer my life onto a more spiritually-satisfying path only to be dragged back into the same shit sooner or later.
What was it that shit fucked our lives so badly that we are always dreaming, hoping to make it big when we all started with just playing ball every minute that we have available?
